Quality over quantity, county by county
When you search online for shutters or blinds, it’s hard to tell who’s genuinely good. We curate installers with proven customer satisfaction — measured by Google reviews — and present them clearly, by location.
For each county we aim for up to 20 Google-rated specialists. If fewer strong local businesses exist, we only list those that qualify. We never pad a county with weak or irrelevant results.

Google is our single source of truth
Every star rating and review count on a standard listing comes from the business’s Google Business Profile. We don’t invent scores, blend platforms, or let anyone pay to look better.
When you compare two listings, you’re comparing real Google feedback
Profiles link through to Google Maps where available, so you can always check the latest reviews yourself.

How ranking works
Top 20 first — then ordered by reviews

Make the county top 20
Only the strongest Google-rated shutter and blind specialists in each county are listed — up to 20 names.

Ranked by review count
Within that top 20, order is driven by how many Google reviews a business has. More reviews means a higher place.

Distance when you search
Postcode search also considers how close an installer is to you, so local options stay easy to find.

There’s no form to buy a place. If you’re in the top 20 for your county, you’re in — then review count decides your rank.

We list up to 20 of the strongest Google-rated shutter and blind specialists in each UK county. If fewer qualify locally, we only show those — we never fill empty slots.

Ranked by Google reviews
Once you’re in that top 20, your place on the list is ordered by how many Google reviews you have. More reviews means a higher ranking in the county.

How do you choose which businesses to list?+
A business needs to be in the top Google-rated shutter and blind specialists for its county — up to 20 listings. If fewer qualify, we only show those. Within the county, businesses are ranked by how many Google reviews they have.
Are the ratings on this website from Google?+
Yes. Every rating and review count displayed on our standard listings reflects Google Business Profile data. We clearly label this throughout the site so you know exactly where the scores come from.
How are businesses ranked within a county?+
Once a business makes the county top 20, we order the list by Google review volume. More reviews means a higher place — so homeowners can see who has the strongest track record of feedback.
How do I find installers near my postcode?+
Use the search bar on our homepage or visit the search page. Enter your UK postcode and optionally filter by service type. Results favour strong Google ratings, review volume and distance from your location.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?+
We are building coverage county by county. Each county shows up to 20 Google-rated installers; if fewer exist, we show only those. If your area is not yet listed, check back soon.
How does my business get on the directory?+
There is no paid application for a standard county place. If you are among the top Google-rated shutter or blind specialists in your county (within the top 20), you can appear in the directory — ranked by your Google review count.
